NC President Deuba expresses sorrow over bus accident

Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has expressed sorrow over the incident of death of eight people and some other still missing in the bus accident that took place in Dhading earlier today.

Eight passengers were killed, some have gone missing and some were critically injured when a bus heading towards Beni from Kathmandu plunged in Trishuli River at Gajuri rural municipality-2.

In a message of condolences, President Deuba has paid heartfelt tributes to the deceased while wishing for speedy recovery of the injured. On behalf of the party and his own, Deuba has also extended condolences to the bereaved family members.

In the message, the NC President has also urged the government to accelerate search operation for the missing ones and make arrangement of treatment of the injured ones. He drew attention of the government to carryout measures to control road accidents by conducting comprehensive study about the incident after forming a taskforce immediately as road accidents are on the rise of late.
