The Nepali Army has continued search and rescue operations in the areas affected by the incessant rains. At the same time, the troops deployed in different places of the country have carried out the work.
Mustang District, Baragung Mukti Kshetra Rural Municipality-4 Kagweni Bazar due to flood from Kag river, the market area was submerged and more than 25 houses were damaged and the bridge leading to Kagweni Lomanthang was washed away. Relief work is being done by transferring the local residents to a safe place.
Rautahat District, Rajdevi Municipality-9, Bramhapuri area, Bagmati river embankment has leaked, as there is a risk of damage to the area, the team of Nepali Army has been deployed to prevent the dam leakage by filling the area with gavin mesh and sand bags.
In addition, the search for missing people due to floods and landslides in different parts of the country is ongoing.
