Nepali Doctors’ Association, an organization of Nepali doctors working in the United Kingdom, has got a new leadership for next term.
The 36th annual general meeting of the Association held on Monday unanimously elected Dr. Komal Aryal as the chair. Among other elected are Dr Sanjeeb Nepali (vice-chairperson), Dr Paras Singh (General Secretary), Dr Rekha Shrestha (Joint General Secretary) and Dr Prajjwal Ghimire (Treasurer).
Also present on the occasion were Prof John Dinole, Dr Steve Pandey, Prof Paleshwan Lakhe and Dr Thomas Marjet, said the Association sources. At the AGM, Dr Paleshwan Lakhe had delivered his opinion on gastro-enterology while four doctors including Dr Arun Baral presented trainee paper, informed Dr Sunil Shah, an attendee.
The financial report presented in the AGM stated that the Association had aided 10,000 Pound Sterling to the Kathmandu-based Radhaswami Centre and sent medical support to different areas of the country to help mitigate the risks of coronavirus in Nepal.
Renowned speaker Dr Chintamani Yogi had delivered his virtual speech on how to maintain mental wellbeing in the troubled times of coronavirus pandemic.
