Nepali shot dead in Colorado

Bhesraj Lamichhane, the owner of a convenience store in Colorado, has been shot dead.

Bhesharaj, who is a native of Tanahun, Damauli, and has been living in Colorado for about eight years, died on the spot when a gunman opened fire on Thursday night at 8:30.

The suspected criminal involved in the murder of 53-year-old Lamichhane was arrested by the police in another state on Friday, far away from the scene of the incident.

According to the Huitridge Police in Colorado, the suspect, 26-year-old Swanathan D’Angelo, first attacked him and then shot and killed him. 

It is said that Bhesraj, who was a father of four children, was an active activist in the Nepali community in Colorado.
