An old man has been arrested in Bardia for raping a 70-year-old woman. Police have arrested 60-year-old Mangaram Tharu, a resident of Madhuvan village in Madhuvan municipality, on the charge of rape. As soon as they got the news that Tharu had raped the woman at the victim's house, the police arrested him.
Simiarly Police have arrested 27-year-old Bibek Shrestha of Arjundhara municipality on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl in Jhapa. The police arrested him based on the complaint that Bibek forced the girl.
The police are investigating further in this regard.
