One died of electrocution

One person died due to electrocution in Virtamod municipality-7 Bahraghare. According to District Police Office Jhapa, local 49-year-old Khem Shrestha was electrocuted in front of his house to avoid elephants.

Shrestha, who was electrocuted while leaving his house on Friday night, died during treatment at Virta City Hospital in Virtamod. Shrestha himself had hung an electric current around the house to drive away the wild elephants.
