A person died after drowning in the Babai river on Monday while another man has gone missing.
Hukum BK of Baglung died due to drowning while Lekhnath Poudel of Barbardiya has gone missing in the river, informed Bardiya District Police Office (DPO).
Police have been mobilised to search for the missing Poudel.
People from areas close to the river bank are also cooperating with the police in the search operation, said DPO.
