Police in Kaski district on Wednesday night arrested a man in possession of a double-barrel muzzleloader gun in Pokhara Metropolitan City-1.
The arrested has been identified as Bharat Gurung (55) of Dip in Pokhara-16. Gurung was arrested after police found the gun in his car (Ga 1 Cha 4373) during a security check conducted at Bagar.
A team of police personnel deployed from Ward Police Office, Bagar for the routine check arrested Gurung after they found the gun kept hidden in the trunk of the car.
Further investigation into the case is being carried out, said the police.
