A man died after being attacked by a wild boar in Madi Municipality-8 of Chitwan district, on Friday evening.

The deceased has been identified as local resident Nawaraj Dhakal (45).

He was collecting fodder in his farmland when a wild boar attacked him to death, informed the Area Police Office in the locality.

Police informed that Dhakal died on the spot.
