Online news portals to also get public welfare advertisements

The government has made a decision to provide public welfare advertisements to online news portals too.

Government Spokesperson Parbat Gurung, who is also Minister of Communication and Information Technology, issued a statement today mentioning that the government will provide such advertisements to online news portals too from Shrawan (mid-July).

He also said that the government will also establish a Press Museum to keep alive the history of Nepali press. Minister Gurung added that this museum will be of much help to researchers.
