In a statement issued by the District Administration Office, Kailali on Thursday, it has been mentioned that the local level and health offices at the Trinagar border and Khakraula border designated for entry into Nepal from India should facilitate the movement of passengers.

Similarly, in the case of Indian nationals wishing to enter Nepal, they should show proof of negative coronavirus test result of within 72 hours before entering and if any person entering shows signs of the virus, antigen test of such person will be done and the entry will be given only if the result is negative.

With the approach of festivals like Dashian, the number of Nepalis entering the country from the border Nepal-India in the far west has started increasing which increases the risk of spreading coronavirus infection. Health workers have said that the risk of the disease is still high as people have been neglecting to use masks in recent days.

The rate of infection and death of coronavirus, which was high in April and May in the state, has been declining since July.
