Patients with viral fever were increasing in Rolpa district amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
Medical Superintendent at Rolpa District Hospital, Dr Adhar Oli, said more than 50 cases of viral fever were recorded daily in the district.
Most of them were coming in the hospital with the symptoms of high fever, diarrhea and common cold, Oli said. He added that such patients were found visiting other health centres in the district as well.
Similarly, 10 to 12 patients of Amoebasis and Giardiasis were visiting in the district hospital daily. Some of them were found worried of COVID-19 infection and reach in the hospital.
One of such patient of Rolpa Municipality-2 Bharat Mahara reached the hospital with similar symptoms and tested COVID-19 but the result was negative.
