PCN makes public list of dozens of journalists for various awards

The Press Council Nepal (PCN) has made public the list of dozens of journalists to be awarded and honoured on the occasion of its 54th anniversary.

The PCN made public the list on Thursday.

Those to be honored are sixteen journalists including Executive Chairman of Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS), Dharmendra Jha, RSS Feature Editor Krishna Adhikari, Ramesh Toofan, Kul Chandra Wagle, Ramesh Paudel and Rajan Karki.

Similarly, Nirmala Sharma is entitled to the Gopaldas Journalism Award for this year.

There are sixteen journalists including RSS reporter Bhishma Ojha listed under PCN Active Journalism Award.

PCN Youth Journalism Award will be provided to 19 journalists.

Other journalists listed are for PCN Surendra Bahadur Basnet Award, PCN Courageous Mediaperson Award, PCN Code of Conduct Award, PCN Women Empowerment Award, PCN Inclusion Award, PCN Thematic Award, PCN Literature Award and PCN Language Award.
