Pilgrim dies of leprosy

An Indian pilgrim has died in Mustang today. The deceased has been identified as Muthiya Yamsani, 60, of Marahpuram Raparthi in Telangana state of India, according to the District Police Office, Mustang.

 According to Raj Kumar Tamang, Information Officer at the District Police Office, Mustang, Yamsani died on the way to Jomsom Hospital. Police said that further investigation is underway into the incident. The body of the deceased has been examined at Jomsom Hospital. About 60 Indians, including Yamsani, had come for the Muktinath pilgrimage via Pokhara-Jomsom air route.
