The embassy has started discussions with stakeholders on the plan for the overall development of Janakpurdham with the financial assistance of Rs one billion announced by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Janakpurdham about four years ago.
In a press conference held in Janakpurdham, Consul Nitesh Kumar informed that the Government of India has brought a package of financial assistance for the development of Janakpurdham.
"We are discussing with the Chief Minister of Madhesh Pradesh, the head of Janakpurdham Municipality, the officials of the State Policy Planning Commission and other stakeholders about the plans and how to work out the financial assistance announced by Prime Minister Modi," he said. . Consul Nitesh Kumar said that the initiative would be taken to complete the project on time by monitoring the scheme run with the help of the Indian government. Dhanusha, Mahottari, Sarlahi, Rautahat, Bara, Parsa of Madhes, and eight districts including Chitwan and Makwanpur of Bagmati Pradesh have been covered by Gunjan Singh Hospital of Chitwan, National Primary School, Bagmati Lower Secondary School of Makwanpur, Balgovind Janata Secondary School of Sarlahi and Janata Secondary School of Sarlahi.
