Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' is going to visit Chitwan today to participate in a diamond jubilee celebration of a school.
Prime Minister Dahal, who is going to attend the first public event outside the capital after becoming the Prime Minister, will be inaugurating the diamond jubilee function of Narayani Sample Secondary School located in Bharatpur ward no. 10.
Although he was to arrive at 8:20 in the morning, Chitwan Police Chief Navraj Adhikari informed that he would be delayed due to bad weather.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the diamond festival at 11 am. According to the school, he will participate in the gold and diamond pillar unveiling, building foundation stone, diamond door opening, diamond souvenir release etc. on this occasion.
Security measures have been tightened in the area around the school in Bharatpur for the arrival of the Prime Minister.
