Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will inaugurate the international conference center built at Butwal Mandap in Ramnagar today. Chief District Officer of Rupandehi, Bharatmani Pandey informed that Prime Minister Deuba will travel today for that.
A contract agreement was signed in 2071 to complete the construction of this conference center in Butwal in two phases, in view of the national and international conferences to be held in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. Project head Dharmendra Panthi said that the construction of the center was completed in June 2078 before the additional deadline. This conference center is connected with the East-West highway from Butwal and is built in the shape of the national flag of Nepal. This auditorium has a capacity of 1000 seats.
