PANCHTHAR: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said students' failure is sheer injustice, so enhancement of teaching-learning and quality education is imperative.
He stated that student's failure should be considered as an offense because it puts students' future at risk. All concerned including teachers, students and guardians' must focus on how quality education can be ensured.
Inaugurating the newly constructed building of Pranami Secondary School at Athrai rural municipality-4 in Tehrathum district, PM Oli, who had studied there up to Grade 4, reiterated the need for improving education.
On the occasion, he shared that the CPN (UML) and the Nepali Congress had built ruling alliance to continue the development construction and ensure political stability. The government would accelerate construction of obstructed development projects hereafter, the PM informed.
The 18-room school building was constructed with the financial support of Um Hong Gil Human Foundation of South Korea, Koshi Province government, and Aathrai rural municipality.
According to School Management Committee Chair Bhim Ghimire, the school had urged PM Oli to take initiative for the management of budget for building construction after they faced problems in teaching learning activities in the old building.
The Foundation was ready to invest for the construction of the school building at PM Oli's request.
