Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to be vaccinated against the coronavirus on Sunday.
Minister for Health and Population Hridayesh Tripathi informed about this during an interaction on ‘COVID-19 vaccination campaign,’ with mediapersons here today.
The Prime Minister is scheduled to get the vaccine at 10:00 am at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH), Maharajgunj. He is to receive the ‘Covishield’ vaccine manufactured by India.
The government is launching the second phase the vaccination campaign against the COVID-19 targeting people above 65 from tomorrow. During the campaign, the government aims to vaccinate around 1.6 million aged citizens.
