Due to the prohibitory order imposed to curb the second wave of the coronavirus schools in Pokhara will not be conducting their annual examinations.
The Education Department of Pokhara Metropolitan City Office has issued a notice asking schools to grade students based on the results of the examinations that were taken before the prohibitory order was imposed and also on internal evaluation.
Many private schools in Pokhara had already started taking the annual examinations before the prohibitory order was implemented and some were in the process to start. The Pokhara Metropolitan City Office has also asked schools to start the process of new admissions from June 15.
Meanwhile, it has said that the notice for the examinations for Class 8 students will be published at a later date.
