The policy and program of the Lumbini state government for the fiscal year 2022/23 AD has been passed.
Today's meeting of the state assembly passed the government's policy and program by a majority. The policy and program was presented by Chief Amik Sherchan in the state assembly on June 8 this year. After Speaker Purna Bahadur Gharti presented the decision in today's meeting of the Provincial Assembly, the majority of the Provincial Assembly passed the policy and program.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC said that policies and programs have been brought to address the slogan of the state government's 'Prosperity State, Self-Reliant Lumbini' from this year's budget and requested for unity for the development of Lumbini.
Chief Minister KC appealed to all to unite for the development of Lumbini, despite the differences in political views. He said that the state government would invest in education, health and agriculture in the project of pride of the state and added that the state government was responsible for that.
He said that preparations are being made to include Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Lumbini University, state capital and other projects of pride in the budget of the coming year.
