President Bidya Devi Bhandari today visited the cemetery of Kaji Kalu Pandey at Dahachok of Chandragiri Municipality-1 and laid a wreath on his statue.
On the occasion, the President enjoyed the view of the Kathmandu Valley and adjoining areas from the Dahachok View Tower.
Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Krishna Gopal Shrestha apprised the President of the historic and religious aspects of Dahachok.
The historic and religious site Dahachok has been on the list of 100 new touristic sites recognized by the government. Indra Daha also lies in Dahachok and the Indradaha Tourism Festival takes place here on Fagun 9 each year.
The Dahachok five-storey view tower was inaugurated by Prime Minister Oli on February 21.
