Prez Bhandari visits Patan Krishna Mandir

President Bidya Devi Bhandari has visited the Krishna temple in Patan. Today, on the occasion of Bhadra Krishna Ashtami i.e. 'Shri Krishna Janmashtami' festival, he came to the Krishna temple in Patan and received water and prasad.

Rupansharma Rajopadhyay, the original priest of the temple, anointed Bhandari with temple water and offered prasad. Besides, the priest team also gave him other remaining offerings.

President Bhandari took information about Krishna's darshan and worship along with Mangahiti in Patan.

At the same time, Chiribabu Maharjan, the head of Lalitpur Metropolitan Municipality, informed President Bhandari that they had rebuilt the Aradhyadev Bhimsen temple of the merchant near the Krishna temple without taking a single rupee from the government of Nepal.

Upon hearing that, Bhandari expressed his commitment to come to Patan Palace soon and observe the Bhimsen temple, said Maharjan, the head of the Metropolitan Municipality.

On this occasion, Lalitpur Region No. 1 Member of Parliament Navraj Silwal, Chief District Officer of Lalitpur Ghanshyam Upadhyay, Deputy Chief of Metropolitan City Manjali Shakya Bajracharya, Ward President of Metropolitan City, President of Mangal Toll Reform Association Kiranman Pradhan, President of Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry Manoj Bahadur Nyachyon and others welcomed President Bhandari.

President Bhandari spent about five minutes at the Patan Krishna Temple complex today.
