KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli left for Thailand today (Tuesday) for an official visit.
During his trip, he will participate in the 6th Summit of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) in Bangkok. The visit is at the invitation of Thai Prime Minister Phatthongthan Shinawatra.
While in Bangkok, PM Oli is set to deliver a speech at the BIMSTEC summit and hold bilateral talks. He is expected to return to Nepal on Saturday, the 23rd.
Prior to his departure, PM Oli met with senior political leaders and former officials, including former Prime Ministers Dr. Baburam Bhattarai and Khilraj Regmi, as well as several former Foreign Ministers.
