Refugee issue brought under the ambit of action

Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Narayankaji Shrestha has said that all the nexus of the gangs that cheated Nepalis by making them fake Bhutanese refugees and sending them to America will be brought under the ambit of action.

Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha during the discussion with CPN-S leaders and people's organization leaders who came to meet him on Thursday said that the government has moved forward by not leaving the guilty under any circumstances and the innocent under any circumstances.

Shrestha said, "The innocent will not be freed under any circumstances, the guilty will not be freed under any circumstances."

Shrestha mentioned that this act is not just ordinary corruption but organized crime. He also says that this is a crime against the state.

'This is not only corruption but organized crime from top to bottom. This is not only limited to this, but it is a crime against the state to make citizens of their own country uncivilized," said Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha.

Shrestha mentioned that he was not pressured by any leader in this case, but expressed his determination to bring the investigation process to a conclusion, even if he was pressured.

Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha says that he has received support and trust from Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' in the refugee issue.

'So far, the top leader has not pressured me not to do it or to do it to him. Their thing is that the guilty should not be caught and the innocent should not escape,' Shrestha said, 'Prime Minister's instructions and mistrust. Everyone wants the guilty to be punished and the innocent to be spared.'

Shrestha mentioned that the whole country is plagued by corruption and commission and said that it will be freed from it. He said that he has instructed the police to confidently proceed with the investigation. "I am the one who will face the political pressure, I have told the police that you should also investigate without engaging in other tricks," Shrestha said.

In the meeting, central members of CPN-S, central leaders of organizations congratulated the government for its commendable work in the refugee issue. They suggested Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha not to bow down to any pressure saying that they will also have their support in this investigation process.
