Sankhuwasabha Murder Case Update: Accused to be revealed today

Earlier this week, six family members were hacked to death in Madi Municipality-1, Sankhuwasabha district.

The police are going to reveal the identity of the accused today who has been arrested in Sankhuwasabha murder case.

The arrested accused has been identified as Lok Bahadur Karki (26), according to Sakhuwasabha-District Police Office (DPO). 

The accused is a nephew of the deceased. The detailed information of the accused and murder incident matter will be released today in press seminar, said Laldhoj Subedi, DSP at Sankhuwasabha District Police.

A team of Dharan-based Federal Unit Police Office led by SP, Bhim Bahadur Dahal, and Central Investigation Bureau security personnel were deployed at the incident site since the day of the murder. Also, a team of police under Arun Kumar BC, DIG chief of Province 1 were also deployed on the second day of the murder.

Earlier this week, six family members were murdered in Madi Municipality-1, Sankhuwasabha district.

Those killed in the incident have been identified as Tej Bahadur Karki (58), Tej's mother Parbata Karki (84) Tej's spouse Kamala (52) daughter-in-law Ranjana (28) grandson Dipen (11), and grand-daughter Goma (5).
