Police arrested a school principal for sexually abusing two 10-year-old minors from Champadevi Rural Municipality-2 in Okhaldhunga district on Friday night.
The accused has been identified as Karan Rai (30) of Siwastashi Municipality-8 in Jhapa district. Rai is the principal of Chandeshowri English Boarding School in Pulami Tole in Okhaldhunga district.
The accused allegedly abused the minors in the school's classroom on Thursday. Acting on a tip-off, joint security personnel from Okhaldhunga-based District Police Office and Palapu-based Area Police nabbed the accused.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed the police.
