Officials of security agencies have to take departmental approval when meeting with diplomatic missions and political leaders.
The Ministry of Home Affairs on Thursday instructed the officials of the security agencies not to meet with the leaders of political parties and diplomatic missions without obtaining departmental approval for a clear purpose.
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Fanindramani Pokharel, informed that disciplinary action will be taken in accordance with the prevailing law if it is found to have acted contrary to this instruction.
