Seventh Lamjung Festival to be held

The seventh Lamjung Festival is scheduled to be held in Lamjung-based Bensishahar Municipality-7. Local Production, Culture and Tourism: The festival will be held at the venue from March 25 to 4th April with the original slogan of business restoration after Kovid-19.

The organizer Lamjung Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized a press conference in Bensishahar today and informed about the festival. Gunaraj Silval, president of the association, said, “The festival is aimed at preserving the traditional arts and culture in the district, commercial agriculture, tourism, health, education, investment-friendly environment in the hydropower sector and promoting trade and business at the state level and supporting the economic development of the district. We are going to do it. ”

According to him, the festival includes industrial and commercial exhibitions, local home and handicraft exhibitions, special exhibitions of industries and commercial establishments in Gandaki region, agriculture, floral and herbal exhibitions, folk song program, photo and documentary exhibition, ethnic and cultural museum, new talent, local and There will be performances by national artists of various genres.

According to the organizers, the purpose of the festival is to revive and support the tourism business of the district which has slowed down due to the influence of Covid 19, to promote commercial agriculture, animal husbandry and herbal products in the district and to promote export-oriented products, local industries, trade and handicrafts. There will be 200 stalls in the festival.
