At least 31 persons have gone missing in the flood that occurred in Melamchi Bazaar of Melamchi Municipality-11 in Sindhupalchowk district.

Those missing were swept away by the local Indrawati River which has turned violent following incessant rains since last evening, according to Sindhupalchowk District Police Office.
