Police arrested a youth on charge of vandalising NIC Bank’s ATM from Budhiganga Rural Municipality-3 in Morang district.
The arrested has been identified as Mohammad Imtiyaj (24), a local resident of Duhabi Municipality-9 in Sunsari district.
Security personnel deployed from the Bansbari-based CRV Post nabbed him while he was vandalising the bank’s ATM. The police also seized a hammer, screwdriver, and other tools that were being used to break the ATM. The police also recovered a motorcycle with vehicle registration number KO 39 PA 4864 from his possession.
Similarly, police is looking for another absconding accused, Mohammad Anis Hussain (25), a local resident of the same district involved in vandalising the ATM.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the matter is underway, said the police.
