Telephone service has been disrupted for five months in Chhangaru of Vyas. The problem was raised due to snowfall in Chhangaru where Sky Tower is located.
Telephone service has been shut down in Chhangaru after the snowfall last December. Nepal Telecom's office chief Krishna Bahadur Gurung said that the telephone service in the area could not be operated even now due to the snowfall. "Even now, it is not possible to go to the area where Nepal Telecom's Sky Tower is located because the snow has not melted," said Gurung.
Even the armed police had to be without communication for months. Gurung informed that the phone line of the Armed Police Force has been set up.
