The weather will get colder in the days to come. According to Manju Basi, a meteorologist at the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, it has become colder due to the impact of the western low-pressure system.
According to Basi, the effect of the western low-pressure system will decrease the temperature and the sky will remain cloudy till Wednesday. Snowfall is expected in Karnali and Far West along with moderate rain in different parts of the country on Monday and Tuesday. It will take until Thursday for the weather to clear completely.
The minimum temperature on Sunday was minus 0.9 degrees Celsius in Jumla while in Kathmandu Valley ut was 5.2 degrees Celsius. It is mentioned in the report of the department that it will rain and the cold will increase all over the country.
