The trial of the fake Bhutanese refugee case is being heard in the Kathmandu District Court. The case is going to be heard in the court of Judge Prem Prasad Neupane.
The Public Prosecutor's Office Kathmandu had filed a case against CPN (UML) leader and member of the House of Representatives Top Bahadur Rayamajhi, Nepali Congress leader Balkrishna Khand, former assembly member Angtawa Sherpa, the then secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs Tek Narayan Pandey, the security adviser of the then Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa, Indrajit Rai as defendants.
More than 145 people were defrauded by making fake Bhutanese refugees and sending them to America
