The hot water tanks in Raghuganga Gaonpalika-4, Darmija of North Myagdi have become well-organized after the construction of roads and physical infrastructure. At the bottom of Darmija village, hot water of more than 50 degrees Celsius comes out from the source on the bank of the Raghuganga river.

It is believed that immersion in natural hot water cures various diseases. Biprasad Pun, chairman of the Tatopani Infrastructure Construction Consumer Committee, said that the pond was constructed last year with the help of the Water Resources and Irrigation Division Office, Myagdi.

Four ponds have been constructed at different places on the banks of the Raghuganga river. To the south of the place to go to the pool is the temple of Jal Barah. The pond on the right side of the temple has a plastic roof. Up to 25 people have been receiving treatment for drowning in the pond at a time. To the left of the temple are three small ponds. It has been constructed with a concrete wall so that 20 people can sit in one pool, 10 people in another, and 10 people in the third pool.

The Water Resources and Irrigation Division Office had provided Rs. 3.5 million for the construction of these ponds. Former chairman of the Darmija Tatopani Pond Management Committee, Tabahadur Sherpuja, said that the pond was constructed by mobilizing local workers even at the risk of the corona.

It is believed that collecting water from the spring will cure skin-related diseases, injuries, bruises, and swelling. Lalita Garbuja, a local, said that a place to accommodate the guests and tourists who come to bathe here has already been constructed. There is an attractive waterfall near this pond. The budget has been allocated for this scheme on the initiative of Gandaki Pradesh Sabha member Binod KC. Chairman Pun informed that embankment work is underway to keep this place safe.
