Three arrested for slaughtering cow in Chitwan

Three persons were arrested by police on charge of slaughtering a cow in Kalika Municipality-1 in Chitwan district on Wednesday afternoon.

One of the arrested has been identified as Urmila Pariyar (33) while the names of the other two youths have not been disclosed. They all are residents of the same municipality in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, Padampur-based Police Beat Office nabbed them while they were allegedly slaughtering the cow.

Further investigation into the matter is underway, informed the police.
