Experts and related officials have suggested that the government should prepare from now on to effectively raise the issue of climate-related losses and damages in the United Nations Climate Conference (COP-28). The conference will be held in Dubai next November, focusing on justice for the damage caused by climate change.

Discussing that the White Himalayas have started to deteriorate in recent years, Manbir Rai, a member of the House of Representatives elected from Solukhumbu, said that due to climate change, the flowering season of fruits in the high Himalayas has changed and this has also affected other crops. This opinion was expressed in the discussion on “Women, Climate Justice, Information, Inclusion and Innovation” organized by the non-governmental organization “Sath Sathe” which has been working in the field of environment and women’s rights on Friday.
