Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said today is the day of national happiness. Addressing a program organized on the occasion of Constitution Day, Prime Minister Deuba said that constitutional supremacy was an indispensable link for the rule of law.

He said that the constitution of Nepal has united dreams of the martyrs, aspirations of citizens and our future. He said, “Our goal is to bring prosperity to the country and lasting happiness to the people through the successful implementation of this constitution.”

He said that the government was committed to the protection of the constitution drafted by the Constituent Assembly and its implementation after the long struggle and sacrifice of the people.

Deuba said that the main objective of the constitution was to fulfill the aspirations of federalism, lasting peace, good governance, development and prosperity.
