From now onwards the transportation of educational books will also be categorised as essential services. The Curriculum Development and Review Committee under the Centre for Education and Human Resource Development has today decided to categorise the transportation of educational books as essential services and start the transportation of such books.
Suprabhat Bhandari, member of the committee and founder president of the Guardians Association of Nepal, informed that the committee has decided to urge the concerned authorities to classify transportation of educational books as essential and allow the transportation of such books.
The meeting held under the chair of Baikuntha Prasad Aryal, Director General of Centre for Education and Human Resource Development, has also requested the government to make vaccines against the coronavirus available for teachers and booksellers.
