One person died in a truck accident in Tersepani, Dhunibeshi municipality of Dhading. The deceased is 40-year-old Ramchandra Pudasaini, who was seriously injured in the accident, died during treatment at the National Trauma Center, in Kathmandu.
Vinod Acharya, 35, who was injured, is being treated at the same hospital. The truck, which was going to Jeevanpur from Bhanjyangpokhari, went out of control at midnight last night and fell approximately 25 meters from the road.
Similarly, the driver died on the spot when a motorcycle accident occurred in Barbardia Municipality, Sitbareli, Bardia. One person was injured. The deceased has been identified as 32-year-old Shyam Kishore Tharu of Barbara Municipality Jogigaon. The 45-year-old boy Kisan Tharu, who was riding behind the injured motorcycle, is being treated at a local medical facility. According to the police, the motorcycle which was going from Padanah towards Banghusri went out of control at 9 o'clock last night.
