A truck has knocked down two school students in Gajuri rural municipality-2, Malekhu of Dhading district.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of District Police Office Shanti Lal Prasad Jaiswal informed that school student duo, Nirmal Shrestha and Sanjeeb Shrestha of Siddhalek rural municipality-6 died on the spot when the truck hit them.
The truck en route to Chitwan from Kathmandu had knocked the students this morning.
Both the deceased were studying in grade 8 in Bageshwori Secondary School.
Demanding compensation, the irate locals have obstructed vehicular operations along the Prithvi Highway.
Police took control truck driver Ashok Bomjan, 41, of Chandrapur municipality-2 in Rautahat.
