TU and PU to continue examination, KU postpones

Tribhuvan University (TU) and Pokhara University (PU) have been conducting annual undergraduate level examinations despite the surge of COVID cases.

While students are not happy about the physical examination and how safety protocols are not being followed the universities and the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology are not in favor of stopping the examination.

The Ministry has stated that it has decided not to stop the examination. Ministry spokesperson Deepak Sharma said, "We have decided not to stop the exam as it is in the interest of many students."

He added that the head of the examination centers should arrange a separate room if the infected students want to take the exam.

However, Kathmandu University (KU) has decided to postpone the examinations amid COVID.
