Annual reports of the Madhesi Commission and Tharu Commission for the fiscal year 2019/20 have been presented in today's meeting of the House of Representatives.
Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Leelanath Shrestha, on the behalf of Prime Minister, KP Sharma Oli, presented the annual reports.
The HoR observed a one-minute silence over demise of former vice-chairperson of the National Assembly Aishworya Lal Pradhnanga and passed a condolence motion.
The meeting also extended condolence to him and the bereaved family. Elected to the NA in 2048 BS, he died on Friday at 96. He also served as minister for Commerce and Supplies. The HoR next meets on coming Monday (12 April) at 1 pm.
