One person has died in a tipper accident in Nisdi village municipality-7 of Palpa district. The deceased has been identified as Tufani Kunwar Yogi, 45, of Sunwal Municipality-3, Nawalparasi, according to the District Police Office, Palpa.
Driver Yogi got off his tipper (Pra 2-03 Kha 4669) without turning off the engine and went behind the vehicle, when his tipper backed up, crushing his head between itself and another tipper (Ga 2 Kha 361).
According to Police Inspector Laxman of the District Police Office Palpa, Yogi was killed when traveling from Sardi to Bhutuki.
In a separate accident, a girl has died while repairing a tractor trolley at Rampur-5, Bejhad in Palpa district. The deceased has been identified as Munna Chaudhary, daughter of Jai Kisan Chaudhary of Sarlahi, Israpur.
She was rushed to Rampur Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
