Police in Kanchanpur district arrested two youths in Bheemdatt Municipality-5 in possession of almost 2 grams of heroin on Tuesday afternoon.

The arrestees have been identified as Nabin Bhatt (26) and Rohit Sunar (20), both residents of Sukasaal in Bheemdatt Municipality-5.

Security personnel deployed from the Kanchanpur-based District Police Office arrested the duo after the police got information that they were involved in drug trafficking and searched them.

Further investigation is underway, informed the police.
