Two people from Surkhet Gerwani of Veriganga Municipality-5 have died due to attack by wild animals. Information Officer and Deputy Superintendent of Police Suraj Karki informed that 48-year-old Gerwani residents Ram Bahadur Chand and 67-year-old Kavi Wali, who went to cut grass in the buffer zone (intermediate area) forest near Bardia National Park, were attacked by wild animals.
"Today they went to cut grass in Buffer Yaria near Bardiya National Park, 3-400 meters east of their house", Information Officer Karki said. "
He said that immediately after the news, the police team, Bardia National Park Devdatta Gana Chisapani Security Check Point Chepang Babai, Nepali Army, park staff and local people searched and found both of them dead after being attacked by wild animals.
