Police have arrested two people on the charge of stealing a motorcycle from Birgunj.
19-year-old Ramjanam Mukhia of Patervasugauli Rural Municipality-3 and 24-year-old Sunil Das Tharu of Birganj Metropolitan Municipality-31 have been arrested informed the police.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Deepak Giri informed that a NS Pulsar motorcycle which was stolen on October 7 was also recovered.
On October 7th at 4 pm Pradhuman Kumar Patel, resident of Birgunj Metropolitan City Ward no. 14, reported that the motorcycle was missing from the parking lot. After receiving information about the theft, the police conducted a search.
Ward Police Office Sripur seized the motorcycle at 5.30 pm on October 11th during a check on the road section located in Birgunj-21. Ramjanam and Sunil were riding the stolen motorcycle.
The police informed that investigation confirmed that the duo had stolen the motorcycle. Necessary legal action process has been initiated.
