CPN-UML Chairperson and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli have planted saplings on the occasion of the 72nd birth anniversary of the party's former general secretary the late Madan Kumar Bhandari.
At a programme organized by Nepal National Ex-Army and Police Organization at party headquarters, Chyasal, Lalitpur, today, he planted bar trees.
Chair Oli highlighted the importance of plantations for environmental protection and explained the inseparable relationships between the tree and humans.
The UML is celebrating the 72nd birth anniversary of the late Bhandari across the country. ---
