Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun has said that Tamang songs and the music of Tungna and Damphu have become an integral part of the folk songs of all Nepali communities.
Sending his best wishes on the occasion of Sonam Lhosar, VP Pun said that the Tamang community is rich in language and culture and expressed the belief that Sonam Lhosar maintains harmony, social unity, and fraternity among all Nepalis.
He further added how Lhosar should be considered as the festival of mutual harmony, love, brotherhood, and unity.
Wishing happiness, peace, good health, prosperity, and long life among all Nepali on the occasion of Lhosar. He ended his message by asking everyone to celebrate the festival adopting safety protocols issued by the government to prevent and control COVID-19.
