KATHMANDU: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology’s Weather Forecasting Division has reported a partial influence of westerly and local winds across the country.

Currently, the weather remains partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, while most other areas are mainly clear.

Light snowfall and rain have been observed in a few locations in the high hilly and mountainous areas of Gandaki province.

By this afternoon, Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are expected to experience partly cloudy conditions, whereas the rest of the country will see partly cloudy to mostly clear skies.

There is a likelihood of light snowfall in isolated high-altitude areas of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, similar conditions will persist, with partly cloudy skies in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, while the remaining regions will have partly cloudy to mostly clear weather.
